Grape Seed Extract or Garlic Supplements or Multiple Vitamin use may decrease the risk of leukemia, bone cancers, and lymphoma (hematologic malignancies)

Scientist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle examined data on 66,227 men and women between the ages of 50 to 76 who took part in the VITAL study.
High use of Garlic Supplements (use on 4 or more days per week) for 3 years reduced the risk of hematologic malignancies by 45%. Ever using a Grape Seed Extract Supplement cut the risk by 43%. Using a multiple Vitamin for at least 8 years cut the risk by 20%. The study is published online ahead of print July 29th 2011 in the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention.
