Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are short-chain macromolecules containing D-fructose and D-glucose compounds.  Though this substance is derived from sugar cane and is technically a sugar, it is not utilized by the body as such, rather a soluble fiber.  FOS has very low caloric value. FOS is considered a prebiotic therefore it helps support the reproduction of friendly bacteria (robotics), particularly in the large intestine.

  • Some individual may experience persistent dysbiosis due to an accumulation of unfriendly bacteria with this product.  If digestive discomfort persists for longer than 2 weeks, discontinue the product.
  • Take ½ teaspoon mixed in water two to four times per day, between meals, or as directed by a healthcare provider.
