CNS Protocol I
Protein is of primary importance in the development of all body tissues including the muscles, blood and skin. Other bodily substances, like hormones, enzymes and antibodies are also formed from proteins. CNS Protocol I supports this process, thereby supporting healthy body tissue, structure and muscle development, healthy nervous system function, enzyme, hormone and antibody formation, cellular regeneration and fat mobilization.†
Important Components of CNS Protocol I
This blend of 21 free-form amino acids is separately formulated, allowing for efficient absorption into the bloodstream and tissues where the resulting proteins can be used to support neurological cellular regeneration. This supports neurological balance, offering substrate for neurotransmitter formation. CNS Protocol I is different from other amino acid formulations because of the production and absorption process. The 21 crystalline, free-form amino acids included are readily bioavailable, requiring no digestion by the body.†

The Science Behind The Ingredients Within CNS Protocol I
Research from Amino Acids states that L-Glutamine contributes to gut health in humans. L-Glutamine has been reported to enhance intestinal and whole-body growth, to promote beneficial bacteria growth and survival, and to regulate intestinalbarrier function. [1]
Research from Experimental and Clinical Cardiology explains how supplementing with L-Taurine helps to promote cellular and heart health. L-Taurine has also been shown to protect various organs against damage induced by mental and oxidative stress. It was also demonstrated that a taurine transporter is expressed in vascular smooth muscle cells and suggested that it may play an important role in vascular function. [2]
A clinical trial published in the Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology states that supplementing with L-Methionine promotes an increase in glutathione present in the liver. [3]
