HB Complex
HB Complex™ is designed to help support a healthy balance of hormone levels for women and men and to protect sexual organs from xenoestrogens. Xenoestrogens are endocrine disruptors or chemicals that alter the normal function of hormones. They can be found in a variety of everyday items like makeup products or plastic. Xenoestrogens are stored in fat cells and have a negative impact on sexual organs.†
Important Components of HB Complex™
Choline is a vitamin needed for memory and brain health, muscle function, nervous system activity, and liver health. Ninety percent of Americans get little Choline from their diet, according to NHANES. The only way the body can make Choline is by creating a nutrient called phosphatidylcholine (PC). However, the body cannot make a PC when it lacks estrogen activity. Adequate levels of PC are included in this formula to support a healthy brain, nervous system and muscle function. Vitamin E Succinate, the dry form of the vitamin, helps protect fatty tissue compartments of the body and as an antioxidant stabilizes the content of blood lipids; sex hormones are made out of these lipids. DIM is a metabolite derived from Indole-Carbinol, a major constituent of cabbage family vegetables.†

The Science Behind The Ingredients In HB Complex
Research from Current Pharmacology states how Indole-3-Carbinol from cruciferous vegetables plays a cellular protective role in humans. The defense mechanism is regulated by Nrf2 which acts as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. This affects the signaling pathways that contribute to cellular protection against oxidative stress and reactive oxygen species that create free radical stress and damage to cells. [1]
Research published in Thyroid Journal demonstrates how DIM is detected in thyroid tissue as well as breast and prostate tissue and acts as a modulator for estrogen in the body. This shows the protective and regulatory abilities DIM has in human subjects. [2]
Research published in Nutrition and Metabolism explains Vitamin E helps to support heart health in humans. It acts as a superior antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent, especially in regards to heart health. It also helps to modulate cellular functions, especially with respect to mitochondria. [3]
Research from Progression in Lipid Research states that phosphatidylcholine is necessary to make choline in the body which benefits the nervous system, especially the brain. Phosphatidylcholine helps to support the health of the nervous system, brain and muscles. [4]
