NutriStatin 144 Supplement
Nutristatin 144 supports the health and balance of the microbial system, better known as the gut microbiome, with specific nutrients for the maintenance and balance of naturally occurring bacteria in the gut. Nutristatin 144 acts as a prebiotic, or fuel/food to help healthy bacteria thrive. About 70% of the immune system is housed in your gut, so a healthy balance of gut bacteria can support immune and digestive health. This product may be beneficial when used with Probiotic Hx®, as it can supply nutrition for the healthy bacterial strains in a Probiotic supplement.†
Caprylic Acid is a fatty acid found in palm and coconut oil that has powerful anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Garlic Bulb Powder from aged garlic contains a substance called alliin that offers powerful immune-boosting properties. Grape Seed Extract is a powerful antioxidant that contains several nutritional components like OPC’s that offer protective properties for vital organs and supports healthy circulation. Peppermint Leaf Extract has been shown to offer support for digestive concerns like gas, bloating and indigestion.†

The Science Behind The Ingredients In Nutristatin 144
Research published in Nutrients states that supplementation with Sodium Caprylate was found to promote lipid catabolism, energy expenditure and weight loss, and can help to support metabolic health via their capacity to improve both intestinal health and absorption. This was also seen to be able to modify gut bacteria, helping to balance the microbiome.
Research compiled in the British Journal of Pharmacology found that supplementation with Caprylic Acid helped to decrease interleukin-8, an inflammatory agent seen in the small and large intestines.
Research published in Antioxidants states that supplementation with Garlic Bulb powder helped to improve gut health by creating more diversity in the microbiome. It was also stated that supplementing with garlic bulb powder helps as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agent helping to improve digestion and immune system function.
Research from Microorganisms states that supplementing with grape seed extract helped to fuel friendly bacteria in the gut of humans by creating more diversity among healthy bacteria. Grape seed extract was also seen to be rich in polyphenols helping to act as an antioxidant agent, ultimately supporting proper inflammatory processes in the intestines and improving immunity.
A study from Aliment Pharmacology Therapy states how peppermint leaf extract helps to support gut health and inflammation. The study found that peppermint oil may have several mechanisms of action including: smooth muscle relaxation, anti-inflammatory activity and modulation of stress in the gut. Peppermint oil has been found to affect esophageal, gastric, small bowel, gallbladder, and colonic health and function.
