Immunoglobulins are antibodies produced by white blood cells in the body. They play a critical role in immune response, as they bind to antigens like bacteria and viruses in the body and help to destroy them. Too many of these antibodies in the blood could be caused by an allergy or overactive immune system. Having too few leaves room for infection.†
Important Components of Neuro Immune (G.I. Immune)
IgG is the most common type of antibody in the blood and other body fluids. These antibodies have the ability to “remember” certain germs that you have been previously exposed to. This helps them fight off pathogens more effectively. Bovine-derived immunoglobulins from colostrum contain components that offer support for a healthy immune response. This formula also supports healthy cytokine activity, gut barrier function, gastrointestinal health and healthy tissues.†

The Science Behind The Ingredients Within Neuro Immune
Research from Frontiers in Nutrition explains how supplementing with bovine serum-derived immunoglobulin antibodies and immuno-proteins help to support the immune system and gut health. A large number of studies in infants and adults have shown that bovine IgG (or colostrum as a rich source) can promote gastrointestinal tract protection, upper respiratory tract protection, and help to fight against LPS-induced inflammation.
Research from Frontiers in Pharmacology explains how Bovine Colostrum can enhance immune health in humans. It has been found that bovine IgG binds to many human pathogens and allergens and can help to neutralize infection of human cells, and limits gastrointestinal inflammation. It has also been found that bovine IgG binds to human Fc receptors which, enhances phagocytosis, killing of bacteria and antigen presentation and bovine IgG supports gastrointestinal barrier function.
Research published in the British Journal of Nutrition explains how calcium intake can positively alter the gut microbiome and support gut health and overall health. High calcium diets seem to favor the growth of lactobacilli, (especially in the colon), reduce LPS-induced inflammation and regulate tight-junctions in the gut lining. It was found that dietary Calcium might interfere with gut microbiota in a positive way.
