Gentle Facial Cleanser for Clear Skin
Gentle Facial Cleanser for Clear Skin is an enhanced skin cleanser for problem skin, derived from a gentle blend of milk and coconut-based cleansers to clean and calm overactive follicles. Witch hazel is an antiseptic and astringent infusion that tightens pores. Essential oils from Lemon, Tea tree and Aloe vera and Vitamin C repair the areas of damage from free radicals to sensitive skin. A blend of enriching Yeast and Sea Green extracts from Sea fennel, Algae, Irish Moss, Plankton, Kelp, and a Spiruline-blend bind to dirt, which soothes irritated skin from acne damage. Made without harmful chemicals that irritate sensitive skin and is non-comedogenic (will not block pores).†

The Science Behind Gentle Facial Cleanser for Clear Skin
Research from the International Journal of Oncology states that green tea consumption can help to nourish and protect the skin in humans. The polyphenolic properties of green tea helps to clean up oxidative damage in the cells and helps to alleviate inflammation. The EGCG’s in green tea help to protect the skin against UV light damage from the sun. [1]
Research published in Molecules states how Aloe Vera nourishes and protects the skin as well as strengthens the skin by promoting repair. Aloe vera was said to hydrate and moisturize the skin while protecting the skin’s integrity.
Aloe vera gel can not only promote the increase of collagen in wounds but also change the composition of collagen, increase collagen cross-linking and thereby promote wound healing. Scientific studies have shown that the gel can increase the flexibility and reduce the fragility of the skin since 99% of the gel is water. [2]
Research from Marine Drugs states that Sea Kelp contains bioactive compounds that are both antioxidant and anti-inflammatories. They help to nourish and tone as well as protect the skin. Seaweed compounds—including phenolic compounds, polysaccharides, pigments, PUFA, sterols, proteins, peptides, and mycosporine-like amino acid (MAA)—exhibited a wide range of bioactivity that can be used as active ingredients in cosmetic products. [3]
Research from the International Journal of Molecular Sciences states how coconut derived products can help to cleanse, nourish and protect the skin in humans. Coconut has anti-inflammatory products and the fatty acid profile of it helps to nourish and protect the skin barrier. [4]
